FIRST DAY IN FLORENCE: MEETING YOJIRO KAKE (FILEP MOTWARY )

Dear iDEALS, for the next few days I will be in Florence, working on a project with POLIMODA's director Mme Linda Loppa and its tutors. As you may know, the keys to the next POLIMODA FASHION WEEK are talent and fashion culture, which takes place from January 8 to 11, 2013 during Pitti Uomo 83.

The protagonists of this edition are two POLIMODATALENTS: Yojiro Kake, who will offer an installation of his stylistic vision and of course Erïk Bjerkesjö, the winner for the last edition of Who Is On Next?/Pitti Uomo and who will feature a site-specific performance of his latest collection.

These two young talents chose to present their creations at Polimoda in the beautiful Villa Favard, where they trained and were inspired. This morning, I was introduced to Yojiro Kake, who participates with the students of the Fashion Technology Masters course in a project called MacroMonster & MicroMusic, commissioned by Alcantara and created by Felice Limosani, where the endless creative possibilities of this material can be explored.
