Dear iFEALS, Tisci's menswear for Givenchy focuses on the essentials of the men’s wardrobe. Riccardo Tisci offers them a new perspective as they are infused with his obsession of exclusive checks, elaborate prints, contrasting fabrics and engineered cuts. The collection reinforces and develops Givenchy’s signature menswear design with an influence coming from iconic motorcycle looks and meatpackers’ imagery.
The attitude is strong whilst the elongated silhouette is closer to the body. Black slim tailoring shows moleskin suits with cotton gabardine inserts and tuxedos in cotton velvet or wool and satin. Collar bones in gold metal with an engraved star and stripe are inserted onto the external side of the shirts’ collar. Knitwear presents sophisticated cables styles together with red striped grey argyle.Patchworks give the collection its graphic dimension. They come with print on print or as assembling various parts. Stone washed and medium blue denim shirts contrast workwear and dress attire. Other shirts play with graphic patches of several checks and matching ties.
Derbies with gold metal studded sole, trainers and plimsole shoes come in braided leather or lace-covered calf.
