Dear iDEALS, it was during a short show-break that I came across an email by RA's David Flamee who was inviting me to Lena Lumelsky's presentation. I had only 35 minutes to get there and my camera's batteries were almost dead.
Just outside the venue, many familiar faces and friends from Belgium, London, Hong Kong, Australia, New York...all anticipating to see what Lumelsky prepared for the summer of 2013. When the doors opened, everyone's jaw dropped from the amazing hand-stitched dresses on lit turning dummies. The collection is (so) well-made, with such emotion and excellent craft achieving an extra bonus from the way the designer chose to present it, as it was indeed the right one. Congratulations!
