Dear iDEALS, Jarno Kettunen’s Live Action Drawings – an ongoing artistic project that he started in 2006 - are direct, energetic, and spontaneous representations. By capturing only the essence, they are expressions of sporadic moments, experiences and moods such as interactions with models, drawing backstage at international fashion shows or capturing the show at ballet, concerts or the theater. Inspired by the current popular culture, Kettunen draws mostly human figures, but in an abstracted and expressive manner by using techniques of fine arts such as in (Neo) Expressionism.
