ALEXANDRA MERCURI REPORTS: HAIR DESIGN

Dear Filep and iDEALS, I wanted to share with you the unique experience of watching a live Sassoon cut and color show at this year’s Salon International in London. Starting with 70s New York, the collection encompassed everything from Warhol to Haring, street art to Studio 54 – bold colors, shapes and design collided on stage. The craftsmanship on show was amazing: impeccable designs that embraced the face and accentuated its beauty. The whole experience confirmed the idea of hair as a canvas – and the Sassoon Team as masters of this particular and personal art form. Bravo.
