Dear Filep & iDEALS, we
have just (barely) survived another LFW with glorious sunny weather in
London, the traditional one big downpour of rain and the "after fashion
week flu", which means everybody is sick after five days of non-stop
work (and partying of course).
One of the first shows that caught my eye was Fyodor
Golan, a designer duo that has progressed impressively since their last
collection.

Inspired by the story of a Victorian girl that was
captured by a Native American tribe, they collaborated with milliner
Zara Gorman and unique jewelers Yunus & Eliza to create one of the
most memorable shows I saw all week.
Bora Aksu was inspired by Marie, an English princess
that went on to become Queen of Romania. Fine silhouettes, refreshing
blues and dove greys give an instant romantic feel to the "Modern Queen"

collection, while the knitted crowns by Liria Pristine and the
exquisite braided hairstyles created by Chrysostomos Chamalidis elevated the collection to new heights.
Zoe Jordan had cool summery girls with bright patterns on her show referencing "Tina Chow, the African desert and a touch of eighties high school varsity".
Corrie
Nielsen observed the Royal Botanic Gardens and the intricate
complexities of petals, sepals and stemen to create another one of her
signature sculptured collections in metallic silk, collaborating also
for a second season with one-to-watch milliner Emma Yeo for her
custom-made headpieces.

Later,
I found myself accidentally backstage at Jean-Pierre Braganza, snapping
a couple of pictures while the models were having their final show
rehearsal.

Sharp angles confirm one of this summer's biggest trends:
white tailored suits, block panel dresses and geometrical silhouettes.
The
end of the first day found me already exhausted yet filled with
inspirational images at the Fyodor Golan after-party at the W hotel,
snapping a quick picture of my outfit before the day was finally over. I
am wearing the Marla cardigan by Monki , black cardigan and vest by Pleats Please Issey Miyake , blue necklace by Issey Miyake, black trousers by Maison Martin Margiela and high grey boots by Doc Martens.
