Sharp lines with supple leather details mixed with linen blends and soft seersucker give the best of both worlds. Research and refinement offered in rugged fabrics and featherweight garments, like trench coats so versatile they fit into the palm of the hand.
Special fabric treatments such as cold dye, spraying techniques, sun bleach and foil prints create unique effects and a supple comfortable feel.
Contrasting faded colours and hints of grey and blue give a refreshing air to the spring summer collection. Staying true to the “Beautiful Different” core values the SS13 collection brings together the worlds of excessive luxury, high-‐end experiences and the use of basic and raw fundamentals, to create a unique look and feel that stands out with its subtle references to the two extremes.

DESIGNER BIO: Born in Amsterdam in 1976, Erik Frenken graduated cum laude with a BA Hons in Fashion Design from The Royal Academy of Art The Hague. In 2004 he completed an MA with distinction from Central Saint Martins in London. After an experience at Alberta Ferretti, he joined Viktor & Rolf as head designer of womenswear for 4years. Winner of many prestigious international awards, Erik took home the Elle Style Award for best young designer; the Central Saint Martins/Lancôme Innovation Award, the Its-‐One Award and the Marie-‐Claire Prix de la Mode award for Best Dutch Designer. He is recognised for his seemingly innate eye for subdued creativity and was named “ONE TO WATCH” by WWD for the upcoming SS13 season.
